The Mini-Boomerang
System consist of three units.
The Transmitter and Receiver (Tx-Rx) placed in a unic
plastic equipment, the Retroreflector Unit, and Control Panel.
An equivalent control unit can be substitute, while the
Mini-Boomerang units are not substitutable.
The Mini-Boomerang Tx emits by a special projector
an infrared beam with a calculated angle. The beams traverses
the protected area and radiated the reflection's unit which
is located on the opposite side, go back precisely onto the
receiver unit objective crossing in reverse way the area so
that protected.
In the event of smoke the information is transmitted to the
Rx. Every bit of smoke information is transmitted to
the control panel unit. The presence of smoke, is seen from
many stand points three of wich are the Rx visibility
reduction, smoke development in frequency, and time of reduction
visibility.
The Mini-Boomerang receiver device senses minute envirinmental
disturbances characteristics of the beginning of a fire and
assesses the information. Ending with the diagnosis of the
information, in the event of a smoke the system triggers the
fire allarm and remain in the allarm state. If the beam is
blocked by an obstacle a hight intensity alarm light goes
on at electronic Mini-Boomerang unit.
All that is not necessary to reset the system when the obstacle
is removed, if others equivalent control panel has not the
trouble memory. The electronic Mini-Boomerang unit
trasmits by relè to the control panel the allarms of fire
and system trouble.
The particular optical construction normally permit a very
good alignement between the electronic and retroreflector's
unit. The system accept a certain angle mistaken, but sametimes
installation reasons request a loosed mounting bracket.
This is available requiring it to our seller Agency.
The installation, alignement and connection of the system
is very simple and does not require special Knowled on the
part of the installer.
After installation, the system is pratically free from periodic
maintenance.
